Coldstream Signs On To Recreation Master Plan

Coldstream has joined Vernon in endorsing the Greater Vernon Recreation Master Plan.

The plan outlines what will be needed for recreation over the next 15 years, but Coldstream mayor Jim Garlick says it can be changed.

“This is a document that provides us in a direction. It’s provided us with information to take next steps, but it will be looked at again over time and re-assessed.”

Garlick says it’s only a guide.

“It’s a work in progress always with these things- official community plans, rec plans, all of these things. Right now this is what makes sense and this is what we’re heading towards.”
