First Carriage Homes Approved For Armstrong

The City of Armstrong is starting to see interest from home owners in developing carriage homes on their property.

Council has received applications from two home owners on Fletcher Avenue and Jarvis Street for carriage homes.

Mayor Chris Pieper says it’s significant because when the city asked for submissions in the past, no one came forward.

“We thought it would take off a lot quicker than it did, but it didn’t. And here it is, two applications at the same council meeting, so you never know.”
