Student Housing Plan Gets Support

Coldstream council has agreed to provide a letter of support for a proposal to add student residences at Okanagan College’s Vernon Campus.

The college will be applying for provincial funding for a 100 bed residence on land owned by the college.

“The letter of support will accompany the business case, developed by Okanagan College, for the project which will be submitted to the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training for consideration,” says District of Coldstream CAO Trevor Seibel.

O-C is also seeking funding for student residences on its Kelowna and Salmon Arm campuses.
