Update: Transport Truck Crash

Traffic has been slow going on the highway in Spallumcheen today.

Police say a transport-truck and trailer failed to negotiate a right hand turn onto the highway from Pleasant Valley Road, causing the trailer to get stuck in the ditch.

There is no reports of injuries or damages.

“The highway is open and traffic is slowed to single lane while a crane and heavy operating tow equipment work to free the trailer,” says Cst. Kelly Brett.

Emergency personnel have been dealing with an accident on Highway 97 at Pleasant Valley Road in the Armstrong-Spallumcheen area.

A transport truck is involved, with its trailer rolled over, and in the ditch.

Single lane traffic is getting through the area.
