Precautionary Water Quality Advisory to be issued in the Bella Vista area

Several blocks in Vernon’s Bella Vista neighbourhood will be under a Precautionary Water Quality Advisory following some work on the system.

Greater Vernon Water said a leak in the area will be repaired on the morning of Tuesday, October 20, and while service will try to be maintained it may result in a loss of water to some residences.

Once the work is completed a Precautionary Water Advisory will be issued until testing shows the bacterial levels in the system are within the safe drinking range.

Properties that will be under the advisory include those on Lakeridge Drive, Court, and Place; on Amber Drive; on Jasper Drive; from 6671 to 6848 Cameo Drive; on Garnet Road; on Topaz Road; on Jade Road; on Ogata Way; from 7301 to 7393 Bella Vista Road; on Flemming Road; and on Joharon Road.
