No mayoral race for West Kelowna, candidate list released

There will be no contest for the mayor’s seat on West Kelowna council come the October municipal elections.

Two-time councillor Stephen Johnston is the lone candidate on the official list of candidates released Friday afternoon.

Incumbent mayor Gord Milsom announced last year he would not be running.

There are thirteen candidates for the six other council seats.

The nomination period for mayor, councillor and school trustee candidate has now ended.
