Cops for Kids riders hit the road from Kelowna
The 2026 Cops for Kids Ride is underway, with a team of law enforcement cyclists leaving Kelowna Friday morning for a 10-day fundraising journey through southeastern B.C.
The riders will travel through the South Okanagan and Kootenays, reaching Cranbrook before returning to Kelowna on Sept. 20.
The route includes some of the region’s toughest climbs, including Anarchist Mountain and Paulson Pass, with stops planned in 26 communities along the way.
The ride raises money for grants to families whose children are facing serious medical, physical or traumatic challenges.
