New weed rules coming to West Kelowna

West Kelowna is putting new rules in place to help stop the spread of noxious and invasive weeds.

A new bylaw requires property owners and occupants to keep weeds and grasses below eight inches from April through September.

The city says there will be no enforcement next year, as the focus will be on educating residents about the new requirements.
