IPE visitors asked to park in designated areas
Thousands of people are expected to flock to Armstrong for the 125th annual Interior Provincial Exhibition, but visitors are being asked to make sure they park in designated areas.
Downtown businesses will remain open over the course of the IPE, which runs September 2nd to 6th, and people are asked to leave those parking spaces open for customers, clients, deliveries and regular operations.
“We love welcoming IPE visitors to Armstrong and we hope they will take some time to explore and enjoy our downtown while they are here,” Kim Magarvey, President of the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce, stated.
“At the same time, we’re asking fairgoers who are heading directly to the grounds to please use the designated IPE parking areas so that downtown spaces remain available for people supporting our local businesses.”
