Volunteers invited to help clear weeds from the Rail Trail

People have been asked to come out and help clear weeds from the Okanagan Rail Trail in Enderby.

The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society will host a hands-on community weed pull event along the trail at Belvidere Park.

The event will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10. People wishing to participate can email info@columbiashuswapinvasives.org

Participants will be given tools and gloves for the weed pull, and will also be given snacks and refreshments to keep their energy up as they help clear the invasive plants.
