Coldstream’s garden waste program opening set

Coldstream residents will soon be able to dispose of their garden waste and leaves.

The municipality will launch the 2022 edition of the Spring Garden Waste/Leaf Drop-Off program on April 3.

Garden waste must be placed in clear plastic bags, garden paper bags, or bundles with compostable twine.

The district will not accept waste wrapped in wires or plastic ties, or anything stored in opaque plastic bags.

The service, offered at the Middleton Drive transfer station, will open for Coldstream residents only, and proof of residency will be required.
