Musicians add to the mood at Oktoblerfest

Oktoblerfest kicks off today and the organizing committee is pleased to announce live entertainment will be provided by local favorite Stevie Todd Thursday and Friday night and Dale Basnett on Saturday.

The event will be held Oct. 7-10 and will feature beer, food and wine, a presentation of Okanagan Spring Brewery and Wings Vernon.

The new activity honours the Vernon-based brewery that got its start in 1985, along with co-founder Jakob Tobler and his family.
