Postal workers deliver heartfelt message

Canada Post workers in Vernon showed their support and gratitude to health care workers and first responders at an event Thursday night.

The postal workers outfitted a number of their vehicles with signs saying ‘Thank You’ and ‘Canada Post salutes out healthcare workers’ before taking part in a vehicle parade past Vernon Jubilee Hospital around 7 p.m.

“Just a little thanks from us to the healthcare workers and first responders in Vernon and our local area,” said a social media posting from the postal workers.
