Vernon Creek Naturalization project completed

The major project through Vernon’s downtown greenspace has wrapped up.

City of Vernon staff said the second and final phase of the Polson Park Vernon Creek Naturalization project had been completed.

There were some areas that had been freshly seeded, and temporary fences were set up to protect the vegetation until it could establish itself.

The City will turn its attention toward future improvements and upgrades to Polson Park, and opened an engagement portal to gather input from residents to help guide the future of the downtown park.
