North Okanagan businesses are getting a new opportunity to expand their operations.

The Village of Lumby said it was developing the new Lumby Industrial Park.

Located along Highway 6, the 16-acre, five-lot site will be suitable for a range of industrial, manufacturing, logistics, forestry and agricultural operations, allowing businesses to grow and serve the North Okanagan and beyond.

“The Lumby Industrial Park represents an important step forward for our community,” Kevin Acton, mayor of Lumby, said.

“This project creates new opportunities for businesses looking to expand or relocate while supporting local employment and sustainable economic development. Lumby is open for business, and we are excited to welcome new investment to our community.”

The industrial park was expected to support the village’s commitment to planned growth, job creation and long-term economic resilience, while also supporting both local entrepreneurs and external investors seeking new or expanded opportunities in the Southern Interior.

The Lumby Industrial Park was expected to be completed by late-spring, at which point tenants would be able to move in. Businesses looking to move into those new spaces were asked to contact the Village of Lumby for additional information.
