Human remains identified as man who went missing years ago

RCMP and the BC Coroner’s Service have identified human remains found last month in Spallumcheen as those of a man in his 60s who went missing four years ago.

Terrence (Terry) Strynadka of Armstrong was reported missing to RCMP on February 15, 2016.

The remains were found April 5, 2020.

“Police do not believe that criminality was involved in death of Terrence Strynadka,” said Cpl. Tania Finn, media relations officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP. “The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP extends our condolences to the family of Terrence.”
