UPDATE: Search ends for missing teen from Salmon River Road

UPDATE

The search for a missing North Okanagan teenager has come to an end after five days.

RCMP say the 16-year-old boy who was last seen on May 9 at his residence on Salmon River Road has been located.

Police say the youth is “fine” and they have concluded their investigating into the incident.

Mountiese are thanking the public for their assistance.

RCMP say they are still seeking tips from the public on a North Okanagan teenager who has not been seen for four days.

Sixteen-year-old Dreydon Dersjarlais was last seen on May 9 at his residence on Salmon River Road.

“He is is still missing and the investigation is active,” Cpl. Tania Finn told Vernon Matters. “We appreciate any and all tips from the public.”

Dreydon was last wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a red and black backpack.

He is described as:
Indigenous male
16 years old
Height 5’8 (172 cm)
Weight 100 lbs (45 kg)
Black hair
Brown eyes

RCMP in the North Okanagan are requesting the public’s help to locate a 16-year-old boy who was last seen on May 9 at his residence on Salmon River Road.

Dreydon Desjarlais was wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt, blue jean pants and was carrying a red and black backpack.

Police are very concerned for Dreydon’s well-being.
