Car Smashes Into Meter, Lightstand

Bit of an unusual crash in downtown Vernon had passer-byes taking a closer look.

A car smashed into a parking meter and light post on 30th Avenue near the Pheonix Steak House.

The unusual part is that the car was on the sidewalk at the time.

No details have been released so far about how it happened, or if there was any injuries, but there was damage to the city equipment and to the car.
