27th Street Road Work

Starting today, the City of Vernon will be grinding and repaving 27th Street, between 32nd and 39th avenues.

The majority of works will be done during nighttime hours to avoid traffic tie-ups and reduce the impact on the area.

Construction hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. However, road closures and detours will be in effect during work hours — from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The work is expected to take four-to-five days to complete.
