Resort Honours Olympic Champ

Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran says the city is looking at ways to honour  Kelsey Serwa when she returns home from PyeongChang.

Serwa won gold in the women’s Olympic ski cross Thursday, with the 28 year old calling it the best moment of her life.

To celebrate her gold medal, Big White staff decided to take a victory lap in her honour down the Serwa’s run, which was named after Kelsey’s grandfather, Cliff Serwa, who co-founded the resort back in 1963.
