Vernon Mayoralty Candidate Plans Town Halls

Vernon Mayoralty candidate Darrin Taylor will hold a couple of town hall meetings to hear what people in the city expect of its Mayor and council.

Taylor says the political landscape is changing rapidly and citizen input is crucial at the municipal level.

He says the challenges facing the city require a politician who is able to have open, honest conversations with constituents.

Taylor adds if he’s elected he’ll hold periodic town halls to give constituents a chance for informal interaction with the mayor and councillors.
