Power Restored In Vernon; Out Elsewhere

Power is out in parts of Enderby and Spallumcheen.

It was first reported at 4:29 p.m.

A crew has been assigned, with the cause unknown.

The area is east of Hwy 97A.

Power has been restored in Vernon.

BC Hydro says the cause was a tree down on power wires.

Update: 5:48 pm

There are reports of power lines down on Mission Road in Vernon.

Power is out for about 1,200 customers in Vernon.

BC Hydro says 1,044 homes are affected in an area south of Tronson Rd, and west of Commonage Rd

Service is also out for 135 properties south of Deuling Rd, east-west of Sigalet Rd, north of Silver Hill Rd.

Crews have been assigned to both incidents, and the cause of both is under investigation.
