The annual fundraiser for projects done locally and abroad will be held in a month.

The Kalamalka Rotary’s 42nd annual Dream Auction gala will be held at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre on Nov. 21.

The event will have a Casino Royale theme, bringing together black-tie sophistication with live and silent art auctions, games, and entertainment.

“We want every guest to feel the moment they walk through the door,” Faith Wood, Dream Auction chair, said.

“The theme, the music, the art, and the auctions all exist to bring people together around something that matters. Our sponsors, donors and volunteers all make that possible.”

Money raised through the Dream Auction goes to support health care, youth, education, community initiatives, and international humanitarian projects. A portion of the proceeds raised this year will also help with the expansion of the Okanagan Science Centre.

“The Dream Auction is where this community shows up, dresses up, and gives big,” Brian Reid, president of the Kalamalka Rotary, stated.

“Every dollar raised goes back into projects that strengthen the North Okanagan and reach communities around the world.”

Tickets for the Dream Auction gala can be purchased online here.
