RCMP volunteers are in Polson Park the next two days providing crime prevention tips for the public.
The volunteers — along with two RCMP officers — have suggestions on personal safety, identity theft and how to avoid thefts from vehicles.
They are located in the RCMP Command Post trailer from 9:30 to 4:30 both days.
“The operation is designed to raise awareness and reduce crime through education visible RCMP volunteer presence in Vernon,” says a City of Vernon news release.
