Major road project in Coldstream to begin Monday

Significant work on a Coldstream road will begin next week.

Starting Monday, July 6, crews will be working on reconstructing School Road between Lavington Way and Learmouth Road.

The project will include widening the shoulders, installing street lighting, upgrading drainage, and laying new road base and asphalt.

Pedestrian, emergency service, transit and school access would be maintained throughout the project, but the District of Coldstream warned there would be some intermittent road closures to accommodate the movement of equipment and materials.
