Progress made on 43rd Ave. project

The infrastructure project along the road outside the new Active Living Centre and Kal Tire Place is moving along.

A staff report on the 43rd Avenue Corridor Improvement project said the work installing deep underground utilities, such as water and sewer, had been completed.

As of the update, city crews were working with partners to install the shallow utilities, which include power and telecommunication lines.

The project will also see a multi-use pathway installed along 43rd Ave. and a roundabout built at the intersection with Alexis Park Drive and Old Kamloops Road.
