CASTLEGAR — Police in British Columbia say three people have been charged in the 2022 homicide of a man in the province’s Interior.

Mounties in Castlegar, B.C., say the three accused were arrested Friday after an investigation lasting almost four years.

Police say the men were taken into custody in communities spanning from Castlegar to Nelson and Vancouver.

One is charged with second-degree murder and the other two with manslaughter.

The case stems from Aug. 11, 2022, when the victim — 51‑year‑old Jean‑Luc Noel Levesque — was found in Castlegar.

Police say he was not from the Interior community.
