A hard-fought effort from the Snakes was not enough
Vernon put forth a concentrated effort defensively throughout the first twenty minutes, but a late goal from the Bandits saw them exit the first frame with a 1-0 lead.
The Vipers would continue to push in the 2nd period, and got rewarded with an early equalizing goal from Toms Trockis, deadlocking the score at 1-1 going into the third period.
Despite an early goal from Connor Dick, Viper penalty troubles in the final frame would see the top ranked Bandits powerplay strike 3 times to win 4-2
