A new report from the B.C. Real Estate Association predicts provincial home sales could rise in 2026.

Prices are expected to stabilize and grow one to two percent.

Sales are forecast to fall 2.2 percent this year, then rise 10.7 percent next year.

In Kelowna, the average asking price in May was $1.15 million, with homes selling for about $1.12 million.
