Update: Evacuation Alert lifted for Daves Creek Wildfire in Joe Rich

The evacuation alert for the Daves Creek wildfire has been lifted.

Residents of the last three properties on Goudie Road in Joe Rich can now return home.

The fire started Sunday, with evacuation alerts issued for 25 properties.

Fire crews remain active nearby, so expect smoke and one-lane traffic on Goudie Road.

During the evacuation, the Joe Rich Community Hall served as a shelter for those displaced.
