Vernon students look to ‘Fill The Bus’ with food

Students and staff at Clarence Fulton Secondary in Vernon are looking to help local families in need.

The school is holding its Fill The Bus Food Campaign on Thursday, Dec. 7 at the Landing Plaza on 25th Ave. from 8 a.m. for 4 p.m. by Buy Low Foods.

They are looking for people to donate non-perishable food items which will go to Fulton families who are struggling to put food on the table.

“If we’re finding a family that is struggling for food, then it will be going directly to them,” Nadia Figley, a grade 10 student at Fulton who is co-organizing the event with Abigail Collins, said.
