Fire hall breaking tradition with pre-Halloween fireworks
A number of local fire departments will be presenting fireworks on Halloween night next Tuesday, but one has decided to try out something new, which apparently is not sitting well with some residents.
The Lavington Fire Hall is holding its fireworks on Saturday, Oct. 28.
“It’s caused a bit of a stir on the Lavington area with some local residents upset we have broken tradition of having it on Halloween,” Aaron Barrie, a volunteer with the fire department, said in an email to Vernon Matters/Beach Radio.
