RDNO Areas B & C can still vote for school trustees

Residents of Electoral Areas B and C in the Regional District of North Okanagan may not have any directors to vote for this year, but they can still cast a ballot for the School District 22 trustees.

Four representatives will be elected by voters for the City of Vernon and Areas B (Swan Lake-Commonage) and C (BX-Silver Star) in the Oct. 15 local general elections.

Residents of Areas B and C don’t get a chance to vote for their RDNO directors as the candidates (Bob Fleming and Amanda Shatzko) went unopposed and were acclaimed.
