Township update

Spallumcheen downgrades water restrictions

The cooler, wetter weather has allowed Spallumcheen to ease its water restrictions.

The township has downgraded the rules to Stage 1 for the following areas: Highland Park, Silver Star, Stardel, Round Prairie, Hankey, Pleasant Valley and Lansdowne.

The Larkin local area service remains on Stage 2 water restrictions.

Stage 1 rules allow for watering every other day, which is in effect year round.

Stage 2 allows for hand watering only.
