System maintenance may impact water service

Customers on the Mabel Lake Water Utility may have issues with their water supply on Thursday, April 21.

The Regional District of North Okanagan says planned leak detection work will happen on that day between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

“This planned work may impact your water supply and quality such as cloudiness, air in the water, or temporary loss of water, so you may wish to store a short term supply of water before the work begins,” a news release from RDNO stated.

Areas that may be affected are:

– Kingfisher RV Park
– Dolly Varden Road
– Campground, and
– East side of airstrip (above campground off Enderby Mabel Lake Road)
