Utility Bills Due in Vernon

May 3, 2017 | 11:57 AM

Vernon residents are reminded by the city it’s time to pay first quarter utility bills.

Bills were mailed out in April and payment is due on or before May 12th.

Any unpaid balance after that is subject to 12 per cent interest per annum.

Homeowners and businesses needing to access information about their utility account can do so 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the city’s MyCity secure online service.

To set up an account, all you need is your account number and access code which is on your bill.

The service also allows people to get copies of their invoices, view all transactions and view meter readings as well as sign up to have their bills emailed to them and change their mailing address.

You can access the service at www.vernon.ca/mycity
