New Owner For Clubhouse

May 2, 2017 | 2:33 PM

The NONA clubhouse has a new life.

Okanagan Restoration Services purchased the parade float during the auction for the Bollywood Bang fundraiser on Saturday.

The float designed and constructed by Nancy Wilde and NONA volunteers took more than 500 hours to build and has been used to promote the Build the Clubhouse project for the North Okanagan Neurological Association.

The campaign is underway as work continues to build a new $1.6 million facility for children with special needs on 34th Street.

“The NONA project is so vital to our community, we love to support community initiatives that help our most precious resource our children,” says Kelly Moorhouse, ORS co-owner.

Plans are underway to re-purpose the play house, potentially as a new company parade float.
