B.C.’s COVID-19 case count dips to 444; active cases down by 237
B.C. has seen its lowest daily COVID-19 case count in weeks.
According to Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, there were 444 new cases of the virus Tuesday (Dec. 22), including 78 cases within Interior Health.
The new cases bring the total case count in B.C. to 47,510, spread through the province as follows:
- 11,331 — Vancouver Coastal (up 79)
- 30,227 — Fraser Health (up by 256)
- 838 — Island Health (up by 9)
- 3,291 — Interior Health (up by 78)
- 1,621 — Northern Health (up by 22)
- 107 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
