B.C. surpasses 10,000 Covid cases
B.C. has gone over 10,000 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in March.
“This number does give us reason for pause,” said Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer. “It’s a reminder that many people have been impacted by this virus. We know that 245 families have been impacted [fatal cases] at a time when it’s very challenging to come together and mourn and celebrate people’s lives. It is a reminder that we know what we need to do.”
B.C.’s top doctor announced 110 new cases of COVID Thursday, with no new cases in Interior Health (IH).
IH has 23 active cases.
