Jul 21, 2020 | 10:27 AM

UPDATE

Police have issued more information about a logging truck that lost its load on the highway through Lumby Monday afternoon.

“The logging trailer overturned as it attempted to execute a sharp corner causing a component on the truck to snap resulting in the trailer to over turn and lose some of its logs,” said Const. Kelly Brett, media relations officer for Vernon North Okanagan RCMP.

There were no injuries.

“The Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement unit attended the scene and conducted a thorough investigation. No motor vehicle act charges were issued to the driver or company,” Brett told Vernon Matters.
