Water quality advisory lifted

Jul 3, 2020 | 3:25 PM

Greater Vernon Water and Interior Health have rescinded a precautionary water quality advisory for customers who were out of water during the emergency water service shut off from June 30 to July 1.

“Bacterial testing results and disinfection (chlorine) levels are satisfactory in the distribution system and the GVW water quality advisory is rescinded,” said a news release from the Regional District of North Okanagan.

Homes serviced by the North BX pump station were impacted by the service outage as crews repaired a leak to a major water main.
