Limited number of public can attend District meetings again
The District of Coldstream is ready to allow members of the public back into their public meetings.
The district has developed protocols that will allow a limited number of people to attend committee of the whole and council meetings in-person starting Monday July 6, while ensuring physical distancing recommendations are met.
“Due to space limitations in council chambers the maximum number of individuals permitted is seven in addition to council and staff members. Attendance will be on first come/first serve basis and seats may not be reserved for late attendees,” said a district news release.
The district is asking everyone who attends meetings, including elected officials, staff and members of the public, to adhere to the protocols in order to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
