UPDATE

BC Hydro says power was restored at 4:41 p.m. with no official cause listed.

Power is out for hundreds of homes in the Vernon, Coldstream and Lake Country areas.

BC Hydro says about 1,808 customers are impacted with the cause under investigation.

There is no estimated time for service to be restored but updates are available here.

Power went out around 4 p.m. which is when some thunderstorms were in the area.
