Vipers Drop Game 5 in OT

Game 5 in the Vipers-Vees series had to be decided in overtime and it was the Vees scoring midway through OT for a 3-2 win. Darion Hansen stopped 33 of 36 shots in the Vernon net earning 3rd. Star.

In the Coastal Series, the Victoria Grizzlies stayed live beating Chilliwack 3-2 in overtime. That series stands at 3 games to 2 for Chilliwack as the series shifts back to Victoria.

In the WHL the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Portland Winterhawks 4-2 last night at Prospera Place in game one of the second round of the WHL Playoffs. Game 2 goes tonight in Kelowna.
