Silver Lining For Hill

Vernon’s Kevin Hill had to settle for second place at men’s snowboard cross national finals in Tremblant Quebec.

Hill led for most of the race, but was passed at the end by Chris Robanske of Calgary.

A U-S boarder came in third.

Hill was the reigning Canadian men’s champ.

He expects to be part of Canada’s team for next year’s Olympics in South Korea.

Hill came in 5th at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, the top Canadian finish.
