Pile of snow expected in Okanagan, Shuswap
The Okanagan and Shuswap regions are in for a pile of snow.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the North and Central Okanagan and the Shuswap, with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm expected.
The storm is expected to track across B.C. tonight and Tuesday bringing heavy snow to the Southern Interior Region.
“Snow will begin later today and intensify during the night. Snow will taper off and become mixed with rain Tuesday evening,” the Environment Canada website stated. “We expect a total of 20 to 30 cm of snow between this evening and Tuesday evening across the Central Okanagan, North Okanagan, Shuswap and North Thompson regions.”
