Canada’s Homan Wins Gold Women’s Curling

Canada’s Rachel Homan has captured the gold at the world women’s curling championship. She did it with an 8-3 victory in the final over Russia in Beijing.

Canada swept the 11-game round-robin at the Capital Gymnasium earning first seed. Homan’s rink swept all 13 games in the tournament.

Canada last won gold at this event in 2008 when Jennifer Jones finished first in here Vernon.
