New Nursing Facility at TRU

Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops has the green light to begin construction on a new $30.6 million dollar Nursing and Population Health Building.

The Provincial Government has committed the final $8-million dollars to the project today so it can begin.

The 44-thousand sq. foot facility will be home to bachelor of science in nursing, health care assistant and new master of nursing programs, as well as other nursing and health programs approved by the Province.

TRU is putting up $22.6 million to the overall cost.
