Vipers on Verge Of Final Berth

Vernon Vipers are one win away from their first trip to the BC Hockey League Final in five years.

The Snakes took a 3-1 series lead over the Wenatchee Wild with a 3-0 win before 2,190 fans at Kal Tire Place.

Aidan Porter had to make just 16 saves for the shutout, while Matt Kowalski, Connor Marritt and Josh Latta supplied the offence.

Game 5 will be in Wenatchee Friday night.

The series winner will take on the Prince George Spruce Kings who swept the Victoria Grizzlies in the Coastal Final.
