Vipers Pull Off ‘Wild’ Win in OT…in Wenatchee

In BCHL playoff action last night the Vernon Vipers once again found themselves into an overtime situation, coming out on top of a 4-3 score in Wenatchee.

Michael Young scored the winner, his second of the night, just 26 seconds into overtime also earning First Star on the night. .

The Vipers would score the first 3 unanswered goals, chasing starting goalie for the Wild Austin Park from the net…then the Wild would come back with 3 unanswered goals as well in regulation time to force OT.

Game 2 goes tonight in Wenatchee at 7 and we’ll have Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse Vipers play by play beginning with the pre-game show at 6:50
